Termi Protocol solves a real problem for anyone running several AI coding agents at once: a scrolling terminal makes it genuinely hard to notice when one agent has quietly gotten stuck in a loop or hit an error buried in a wall of text. Termi represents each connected agent, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and others, as a small character in a 3D room, walking to its desk and visibly reading files, writing code, or running commands. It attaches directly to sessions you already have open rather than requiring you to relaunch agents through a wrapper, and everything renders and stores locally, so your code and command activity never touch a hosted backend.

The pricing is unusual for an AI tool right now: a single $6.99 one-time payment for lifetime access as a founding backer, no subscription. That's a very low bar to try it, and the local-first, bring-your-own-keys design is a genuine privacy plus compared to cloud dashboards that log agent activity. It's a novelty-adjacent product though, the 3D visualization is fun and can make stalled agents easier to spot at a glance, but it doesn't change what the agents themselves can do, and it's a new, small product without much of a track record yet on stability across long sessions or many agents running simultaneously.
