Overview
PostNitro is an established social content tool (roughly three years old) built around carousels. You design from 100+ editable templates or ask Nitro Chat to draft slide structures and copy, apply a Brand Kit of fonts, colours, logos and headshots, then export as PNG, PDF or MP4 or publish directly to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and Pinterest.
What is new is the Agents launch: PostNitro is listed in the Claude connector directory and the ChatGPT directory, and offers an MCP server with 35 tools, an npm CLI and a REST API. The Product Hunt launch drew 136 points. The vendor claims 85,000+ creators and marketers, which we have not verified.

Credit consumption: Importing costs 1 credit per slide and AI generation 2 credits per slide, so long carousels use credits fast.
Video is slide-based: Video output renders slides to MP4, not AI-generated footage.
No X publishing: Publishing covers six platforms and excludes X.
What Makes It Unique
PostNitro is a carousel-first design tool that has opened itself up to agents, so Claude, ChatGPT, MCP clients or a CLI can generate on-brand carousels and publish them. Most social design tools stop at their own editor.
