Overview
Sourclip is a Chrome extension built specifically to fill the gaps in Google's Gemini Notebook (the renamed NotebookLM). On its own, Gemini Notebook has no good way to pull in research from around the web, organize it into folders, or get more out of it than the built-in chat panel. Sourclip clips sources directly from YouTube, webpages, PDFs, Reddit, X and AI chat tools like ChatGPT and Claude, and drops them into a notebook with one click.
Beyond capture, it adds a workspace dashboard for managing notebooks across folders, a saved prompt library so you're not retyping the same research instructions, and export options (Markdown, HTML, PDF, audio, video) that Gemini Notebook doesn't offer on its own. It only works on Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc) - there is no Firefox or Safari version.
