Read AI
Meeting notes, email, and chat summaries with a searchable AI layer on top
Overview
Read AI goes beyond a standard meeting notetaker by trying to be the search layer across everything you communicate through: meetings, email, and chat. The Ask Read feature lets you query across all of it and get an answer with a citation back to the source, which is a genuinely useful step past just having a pile of transcripts. It also adds meeting coaching, giving speaker-level analytics on things like talk time and engagement, and a digital twin called Ada that's meant to learn how you write and communicate to handle some of your workflow automatically.
The free plan is capped at 5 meeting transcripts a month but does include unlimited enterprise search, which is a decent way to try the search feature before paying. Paid tiers stack up quickly: Pro unlocks unlimited transcripts and premium integrations, Enterprise adds audio and video playback, and Enterprise+ requires a minimum of 5 licenses and adds HIPAA compliance and SAML/SCIM for larger, security-conscious organizations. The naming is a little confusing since Enterprise+ isn't the top of a self-serve range, it's still monthly per-seat pricing, just gated behind a seat minimum.

Pros
Cross-Channel Search: Ask Read searches meetings, email, and chat together with cited sources, not just meeting transcripts.
Meeting Coaching: Speaker analytics give feedback most notetakers don't offer.
Broad Integration Set: Connects to 20+ tools including CRMs and project management platforms.
Real Free Tier: Unlimited enterprise search included even on the free plan.
Cons
Free Transcripts Are Limited: Only 5 meeting transcripts a month before you have to upgrade.
Confusing Tier Naming: "Enterprise" and "Enterprise+" are still self-serve monthly plans, not custom quotes, which can mislead buyers expecting a sales-negotiated enterprise deal.
Seat Minimums On Top Tier: Enterprise+ requires at least 5 licenses, so solo users can't access HIPAA compliance or SAML/SCIM.
File Upload Credits Are Capped: Even paid tiers cap file upload credits per month rather than offering unlimited uploads.
What Makes It Unique
Cross-Channel Ask Read Search: Read AI lets you search and get cited answers across meetings, email, and chat in one query, not just one meeting transcript at a time.
