Overview
Kane CLI is a terminal-based AI browser automation and testing tool from TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest), launched in April 2026. Instead of writing Playwright or Selenium scripts, you describe a test in plain English, for example "log in as an admin, open the billing page, and verify the plan shows Enterprise", and Kane CLI drives a real, locally installed Chrome browser through the flow, verifying each step and returning a clear pass or fail with clean CI exit codes.
It's built to serve developers and QA engineers as well as AI coding agents directly. It integrates with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, and Gemini CLI so an agent that just wrote code can immediately check whether the change actually works in a browser, not just whether it compiles. Every run produces a portable, sha256-verified evidence pack, and any validated flow can be exported to native Playwright code with one command.
